The adult bald eagle rescued in Des Moines near Halloween that had elevated lead levels. This female was given supportive care and time to build back her strength.
The youngster was transferred to SOAR from Wildthunder for continued care. We find that some patients eat better when housed with or near others like them. This HY21 eagle was thin, weak, and found grounded.
Fly well, be safe.
