New Providence and DH3 Continue Rehab

The hatch-year 2026 (HY26) Bald Eagles DH3 and New Providence are still in the 60-ft flight pen. Both are making great progress in landing, steering, and building stamina.

DH3 is making great progress in the 60-ft flight pen, flying the length and sticking his landings.

New Providence was admitted one month before DH3 without injury – she just needed to finish growing in feathers and gain weight.

The adult Bald Eagle continues to be the eagle role-model! It is so important for these youngsters to be with other eagles gaining social skills.

On the far high perch is (L-R): New Providence, DH3, and an adult. New Providence does not have any white markings on chest or wings as does DH3. So pretty easy to tell them apart.
