Petunia

American kestrel
Our female kestrel, Petunia, came to SOAR as a hatch-year 2019 nestling that fell from her nest. The injuries she sustained do not allow her to fly or to preen as she should. Compare Petunia’s coloring to that of our male kestrel, Blaze. Notice the differences? Photo John Ryan.
