Argos

Eastern Screech Owl
Argos is a grey phase screech owl and suffered a concussion and eye injuries, possibly colliding with a car in 2004. The severity of the head trauma resulted in damage to the nerves that control the iris. The severely injured eye, over time, has ‘disappeared.’ This owl does very well in her enclosure, finding food, water, and comfortable perches. Argos is Greek for silver.
