Thanks to SOAR volunteer Deb for her valiant effort to save this barred owl. The left wing was caught in a barbed wire fence. You know how we feel about barbed wire. Those nasty barbs can cause so much tissue damage. That doesn’t matter… we always try. Thank you Deb for being so careful and removing the wire from the wing, applied neosporin, and wrapped the wing.
Unfortunately, this owl suffered too much trauma and died.
