Tyler responded to a call from a farmer in Plymouth County who found two young red-tailed hawks stuck in a manure pit. The hawks were sitting on flotsam… both Tyler and farmer saw mice running about the pit, too. That is likely what attracted the inexperienced hunters. The farmer was most concerned about the well-being of these birds and helped Tyler. The feathers were matted and the hawks unable to fly.
