Thanks to SOAR friend Matt for positive ID on this hawk as a juvenile red-shouldered hawk! We don’t admit many red-shouldered hawks so we’re not as confident in our ID. This hatch-year 2016 hawk has some head trauma and is not wanting to eat well so is thin.

Has been moved out of ICU. Still not eating as well as we'd like to see.
