Just so you know how rare it is to see a raptor that needs rescued… one of SOAR’s rescuers actually came upon a hawk along a highway that needed rescue! This HY15 red-tailed hawk was likely hit by a vehicle considering it was found along a highway and has a fractured humerus near the shoulder. Fortunately was not a bad break, the unfortunate part is that the break is very near the shoulder joint. The wing is wrapped and fingers crossed. Thanks Christina for being in the right place at the right time!
