Warren Co great horned owl

A young boy found this owl while riding his dirt bike in the pasture. His parents made a phone call to SOAR and with guidance were able to coax Miss Owl into a dog crate. The family took this great horned owl to SOAR friend Marla!
Although getting harder and harder to tell, we think this a 2017 hatch year owl. She’s a bit bruised and had recently fraternized with a skunk. Fortunately she is a good eater and her mutes are normal.
